Julie has 25 years within the mining and exploration industry. During which time she has held positions with Hamersley Iron (Pilbara region), CRA Exploration, North Limited, Blastronics and AMC Consultants.
For the past 10 years Julie has been working in the consulting industry, and in recent years formed her own company.
Throughout her experience it has seen her undertaking drafting and design work for many of Australia's underground mines, as well as environmental monitoring and modelling.
Her more recent focus is on "Mining and the Environment" and is currently interested in Mine Closure Planning.
Julie has recently completed a Mining Environmental Masters Degree at the University of Queensland.
